Kudos to the person in charge. You’ve done your job well.

At the start of this contest, it wasn’t possible to view voting results while voting was still in progress. That practice should have continued.

Same action, different setting = unethical rigging of the vote.

SOUNDS LEGIT.

Joining random IRC’s and blindly telling people to vote for you is way different than asking your friends to vote for you. Asking your friends to vote for you generally means they will read it while just joining random IRC’s and saying “Yo Dog vote for this chick just cause” is not really that ethical.

Who watches the vote all through the night just waiting for the gap to close only to boost it with another several dozen votes to block out the competition?

I mean, look at how many votes this has gotten to! This is ridiculous!

Blindly telling people to vote for a story that they most likely will not read falls under “rigging” of votes, coupled with the contest not ending at 12 like all of the previous rounds? If the contest followed the rules like all of the other rounds then the contest would have ended almost 2 hours ago with Empress loosing by around 15 votes.
