St. Valentine’s Short Short Competition – Match #12
#9 – “The Gift” by Charlotte Tracey
vs
#21 – “The Genuine Article” by Virginia M. Sanders
Winner: #21 – “The Genuine Article” by Virginia M. Sanders (22-11)
very good
Great!
Hello there, Virginia! Good luck on the contest. I’m glad to see these “affordable corsets” have a lifetime guarantee. Sensibly practical. Much Love, Fondly, Robin
Ms. Sanders’s story is intriguing and subversive. I’m going nuts trying to decide if the ending says what it apparently says. Great job, in a short space, at gaining the reader’s involvement. The competing story? It needs a serious editing.
Nice twist to The Genuine Article. Well done.
