I love steampunk cosplay, and have enjoyed steampunk in art, film and television, but I have only recently started reading steampunk fiction, as I didn’t really know where to look. I’m a little worried about being clumsy with the more technical-sounding aspects of steampunk, but I want to be sure to really set the scene and the mood just right. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

My NaNo login is Pythia, if you’d like to add me as a buddy.

Currently at 2685 words on the first day. My NaNoWriMo pseudonym is Rancid_Pickle, if you need a buddy.

Very unemployed. Haven’t written fiction in a while, and, maybe if I start something all new…it might get me going. It’s unlikely I’ll write something steampunky though. Can I hang out anyway?

This will be my 4th NanoWrimo. I’m going to be working on the sequel to my first Steampunk book, “Madame Bluestocking’s Pennyhorrid,” which funnily enough goes on sale via Hunt Press tomorrow.
