I’m the co-producer at Battleground Productions here in Seattle Washington, and we’re preparing an audacious launch of a multi-platform Steampunk adventure serial called BRASS. We’re going to be releasing an audio serial, producing a late-night show, and running a Kickstarter to get a short film produced, all starting in March. We’d love to get you on our press release list. Could you let me know what the best way to doing so might be? Thanks much!

It’s a mild steampunk set in an alternate Regency/Victorian world about an expedition, a magic compass, a forgotten underwater city, and lots of travel by train. Concept is a post apocalyptic futuristic world
where all natural resources have been exhausted and mankind resorts to the production of steam as a new energy source.

For dark New York Victoriana with a steampunk twist I would suggest the Catastrophone Orchestra book. It just came out.

Peters and Scott Westerfield. They are all great authors.

If you want to get vintage then try: Tim Powers and Michael Moorcock.

You might also want to pick up The Steampunk Bible, an introductory guide to all things Steampunk. It also has great photos.
