Hello there! I’m the co-producer at Battleground Productions here in Seattle Washington, and we’re preparing an audacious launch of a multi-platform Steampunk adventure serial called BRASS. We’re going to be releasing an audio serial, producing a late-night show, and running a Kickstarter to get a short film produced, all starting in March. We’d love to get you on our press release list. Could you let me know what the best way to doing so might be? Thanks much!
For those looking for steampunk stories with a lot of “steam”, please check out A Familiar Taste of Seduction by Elizabeth Kolodziej and Juls Berghammer. Here is the Amazon link: http://amzn.to/XvoBjB
Hi! My name is Jonas Cobos, I’m the writer of the Steampunk series The John Melville’s Files. The first novel of the series, that it’s actually published monthly, is titled The Kraken. And the first part of that story, titled The Murder Of Ali Bey, you could find it on Amazon in Kindle Edition. Thanks for your time. Any opinion will be welcome. http://getBook.at/Melville1
Hello! I have just published an story for children aged 9 and up which has Steampunk elements mixed in with a bit of time travel and a bit of fantasy adventure. Hello all.
My name is R.N. Vick and I recently published Wings of Fury, an adventure novel set aboard an airship in the 1930s. Readers have compared it to the Steampunk genre so I figured I would let you guys know about it. Check out rnvick.com for more information!
My debut novel, “A Hole in the Ice” will be coming out soon. It’s a mild steampunk set in an alternate Regency/Victorian world about an expedition, a magic compass, a forgotten underwater city, and lots of travel by train. Published by Little Bird Publishing House. Check it out at mccallumjmorgan.weebly.com

Don’t leave out the comics medium. That is a creative and artistic bend in literature. Take “Lady Mechanika”, for instance.
I would like to second Felix Gilman’s The Half-Made World. For dark New York Victoriana with a steampunk twist I would suggest the Catastrophone Orchestra book. It just came out.

I also just finished reading Ekatarina Sedia’s new book and Felix Gilman’s weird western, The Half-Made World.

Try asking for books by Mark Hodder, Cherie Priest, Mike Resnick, James Blaylock, Ian Macleod, George Mann, S.M. Peters and Scott Westerfield. They are all great authors.
If you want to get vintage then try: Tim Powers and Michael Moorcock.
You might also want to pick up The Steampunk Bible, an introductory guide to all things Steampunk. It also has great photos.
