By: Clayton Scroggs Thu, 10 Jul 2014 10:11:11 +0000 Ahola,
I’m a steampunk modernist. My goal is to create a mainstream, more modern version of steampunk culture that the general public can accept more easily. Steampunk may have evolved in the Victorian era, but if electricity, solar power, and other forms of energy has not been discovered since then, what would the modern version of steampunk be? Customs would surely have changed since the classic, sophisticated ways of Victorian life, by the culture would remain a steampunk culture run by steam and gears. What would clothing look like? What would the entertainment field such as music and film be like? I’m a visionary. I see an idea in my mind’s eye and, with help from others, ignite it into existence. If you’re interested in helping raise the embers into flames, contact me at

I just discover this Steampunk little lest than a hour ago. From the U tube I have seen most advents take place on the “Left Coast”. Are there any Steampunk troops here in the Sunshine State? I would like to get in touch and be apart of this Victorian Secret? This is all new to me.. I am 54, a dreamer of such contraptions would be interesting to meet some one of this caliber. To share thoughts of past contraptions. Thank you and Greetings from Palmetto, Fl. Kenneth H

By: Sabrina Sat, 02 Jun 2012 23:55:22 +0000 Imagine a music festival:

– in an old factory made of brick and steel
– on the San Francisco Bay
– that you can arrive to by boat
– with aerialists and fire dancers
– staring Abney Park
– with vendors and games
– brought to you by some of the mad scientists behind Clockwork Alchemy…

Now, stop imagining it and help us make it happen!
