Your presence has been requested by Legendary Pictures & Universal Pictures to participate in an evening of frills and chills with a screening of

Crimson Peak

You do know about Crimson Peak, right? Tom Hiddleston (Loki!) and Mia Wasikowska (Alice!) in a lavish Gothic horror film? I’ll stick the trailer at the bottom in case you’ve missed it. It opens nationwide on October 16, 2015, but you, friends of Steampunk.com, have a chance to see it ahead of time if you can get to New York or Los Angeles.

The New York City Screening is hosted by artist/dark cabaret musician Aurelio Voltaire:

Wednesday, the 7th of October
8:00 p.m.
AMC Loews 34th St.
312 W 34th St.
New York, NY 10001

The Los Angeles Screening is hosted by the inimitable Juliette Landau (Drusilla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

Thursday, the 8th of October
8:00 p.m.
TCL Chinese 6
6925 Hollywood Blvd
Hollywood, CA 90028

For these screenings, anyone showing up in Victorian/Steampunk attire, will be let in early and NOT have to wait in line! Corsets and top hats are warming, folks. There will also be giveaways from Universal/Legendary and Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs at both screenings!

This sounds like a great time (and I’d go myself if I lived in the right area) and you can get in on it by just giving us your email address (which will ONLY be used for this; not keeping them, promise!). I’m not certain how many tickets will be given out, but I know they want to show the movie to as many members of the Steampunk community as possible.

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. THIS TICKET DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU ADMISSION. THEATER IS OVERBOOKED TO ENSURE A FULL HOUSE. THEATER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERBOOKING. NO ADMITTANCE ONCE SCREENING HAS BEGUN.

This pass is the property of Universal Pictures who reserve the right to admit or refuse access to the theater at the discretion of an authorized representative. NO RECORDING.
