Banana Republic Creating “Anna Karenina” Collection

A bit of 19th century elegance is coming to a mall chain near you this fall. Banana Republic, in partnership with Focus Features, is creating a collection of clothes inspired by the forthcoming production of Anna Karenina, starring Keira Knightly, Jude Law, and Aaron Johnson. (Alas, not Android Karenina.) The collection, which they describe as “a special holiday capsule” is being “styled and curated by twice-Academy Award-nominated Anna Karenina costume designer Jacqueline Durran.”
We haven’t seen any part of the line itself yet, but I can show you some of the lavish costumes Durran designed for the film. They are impressive.
Thank you for the re-tweet on Twitter! I love your site and appreciate the timely posts for events, etc… I pinned a few of your posts to my Pinterest and will sure come back here for more. I also will subscribe to your RSS Feed!
Cheers,
Sir Ivan Cogsworth
